The Sons of The American Legion (SAL) is an organization of male descendants of veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces during wartime. It is an affiliate of the American Legion, a veterans' organization founded in 1919.

The SAL was founded in 1932 and its mission is to support The American Legion and to continue the traditions and purposes of the American Legion. Members of SAL are eligible for membership if their father, grandfather, or great-grandfather served in the U.S. Armed Forces during wartime, and are also members of the American Legion.

The organization is made up of members who serve as volunteers in their communities, they also participate in American Legion programs and support the American Legion mission. Their activities include working on community service projects, raising money for veterans and military families, and promoting Americanism and patriotism.

SAL also has its own program, including the American Legion Baseball and American Legion Rider programs. The SAL also participates in the American Legion Boys State program, which helps teach young men leadership and citizenship skills.

The Sons of The American Legion is an important affiliate of the American Legion, and it plays an important role in continuing the organization's mission of service to veterans, their families, and their communities.
