The Milwaukee Brewers are a professional baseball team based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They are a member of the National League (NL) Central division. The Brewers have a long history, having been founded in 1969, and they have made it to the World Series twice, in 1982 and 2011, though they have not won a championship.
The Brewers play their home games at American Family Field, which opened in 2001 and was previously known as Miller Park. The team has a strong and passionate fan base and a number of notable rivalries, including with the Chicago Cubs and the Minnesota Twins.
The Brewers have had a number of successful seasons and have a long list of talented players, including Robin Yount, Paul Molitor, and Ryan Braun. In recent years, the team has consistently been a contender for a playoff spot, making it to the postseason in five of the past seven seasons, including a National League Championship Series appearance in 2018.
