American Management Systems (AMS) was a consulting and information technology company that provided a range of services to businesses and government agencies. Founded in 1970, AMS was headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia, and had offices in several locations around the world.

The company's services included enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation, business process improvement, systems integration, and IT strategy consulting. AMS also developed and marketed software products, including financial management and human resources management systems.
In 2004, AMS was acquired by CGI Group, a global IT and business consulting firm. The company's name was subsequently changed to CGI Federal, and it continued to operate as a division of CGI Group.
