The Association of the United States Army (AUSA) is a private, non-profit organization that serves as the professional association of the United States Army. Founded in 1950, it has 121 chapters worldwide. Membership is open to everyone, not just Army personnel, nor is membership mandatory for soldiers.
AUSA's mission is to "provide a voice for the Army, support the Soldier, and honor those who have served in order to advance the security of the nation." The organization does this by advocating for the Army on Capitol Hill, providing educational and professional development opportunities for soldiers and civilians, and supporting wounded warriors and veterans.
AUSA also hosts the annual AUSA Annual Meeting & Exposition, which is the largest land power exposition in the United States. The meeting brings together soldiers, civilians, industry leaders, and government officials to discuss the latest trends and developments in the Army.
AUSA is a valuable resource for the Army and its supporters. The organization provides a way for the Army to communicate with the public and advocate for its needs. It also provides soldiers and civilians with opportunities to learn and grow, and to support their fellow soldiers and veterans.
