Black Flag is an American punk rock band formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach, California. The band is known for their aggressive and powerful sound, as well as their distinctive logo, a black flag with four white bars. Black Flag's lineup has included a number of influential musicians, including guitarist Greg Ginn, vocalist Henry Rollins, and drummer Chuck Dukowski. The band released a number of influential albums in the 1980s, including Damaged and My War, and continues to tour and release new music.
