Bündnis 90/Die Grünen (Alliance 90/The Greens) is a political party in Germany that was founded in 1993. The party is a merger of the West German Green Party and the East German Grüne Partei der DDR (Green Party of the GDR), and it is the fifth largest political party in Germany.
