The Democratic People's Alliance was founded on June 17, 2000, and Dr. Dragan Kostić from Banja Luka was elected as its first president. In 2003, the Alliance of National Revival joined DNS collectively, and that year Marko Pavić was elected president, who has had the complete trust of DNS members for 15 years.
