The Deutscher Eishockey-Bund (German Ice Hockey Association, or DEB) is the national governing body for ice hockey in Germany. It was founded in 1911 and is a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).
The DEB is responsible for organizing and promoting the sport of ice hockey in Germany, including the national teams and the professional Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). It is also responsible for the development and oversight of ice hockey at the grassroots level, including youth leagues and amateur clubs.
The DEB is headquartered in Frankfurt and is governed by a board of directors elected by the membership. The association is funded through a combination of membership fees, sponsorships, and government grants.
