The Deutscher Kegler- und Bowlingbund (German Bowling and Tenpin Bowling Association, or DKB) is the national governing body for the sports of tenpin bowling and nine-pin bowling (kegeln) in Germany. It was founded in 1947 and is headquartered in Frankfurt.
The DKB is responsible for organizing and promoting the sports of tenpin bowling and nine-pin bowling in Germany, including the national teams and various domestic leagues and tournaments. It is also responsible for the development and oversight of these sports at the grassroots level, including youth leagues and amateur clubs.
The DKB is a member of the International Bowling Federation (IBF) and the European Tenpin Bowling Federation (ETBF). It is funded through a combination of membership fees, sponsorships, and government grants.
