East West Players (EWP) is a theater company based in Los Angeles, California, that focuses on Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) stories and perspectives. EWP was founded in 1965 and is the oldest Asian American theater organization in the United States.
The company produces a wide range of plays and musicals, including new works by Asian American playwrights, as well as productions of classic and contemporary plays that explore Asian American experiences.
