The Ford Sierra is a mid-size car that was produced by Ford Europe from 1982 to 1993. It was designed to replace the Ford Cortina and was initially introduced as a four-door saloon, but later models also included a five-door hatchback and an estate version.
The Sierra was a significant departure from the boxy design of the Cortina, featuring a more streamlined and aerodynamic body shape. It was also the first Ford car to use the "aero" styling language, which was characterized by a sloping front end, curved roofline, and flush glass.
