General Electric Company GE was an American multinational conglomerate founded in 1892 and incorporated in the state of New York and headquartered in Boston. The company had several divisions, including aerospace, energy, healthcare, and finance. GE as a conglomerate was cease to exist on April 2, 2024 following the completion of spin-off into three different companies focused on energy, aerospace, and healthcare that begun in 2021, namely GE Aerospace, GE Vernova, and GE Healthcare.
