The Honda Indy 300 was an annual motor racing event held on the Gold Coast, Australia from 1991 to 2008. It was a round of the CART (Championship Auto Racing Teams) series from 1991 to 2002, and then became a round of the Champ Car World Series from 2003 to 2008.

The race took place on a temporary street circuit located in Surfers Paradise, Queensland, with a length of 4.47 km. The circuit was known for its high-speed sections and tight chicanes, and provided a challenging and exciting race for drivers and spectators alike.

Over the years, many famous drivers participated in the Honda Indy 300, including Michael Andretti, Paul Tracy, Dario Franchitti, and Sébastien Bourdais. The event also attracted large crowds, with up to 300,000 people attending the race over the four-day event.

The Honda Indy 300 was discontinued after the 2008 event, due to financial difficulties and the global financial crisis. However, the Gold Coast now hosts the Gold Coast 600, a V8 Supercar race held on a similar street circuit, which has become a popular event in its own right.
