New Era Field is a stadium located in Orchard Park, New York, USA. It is primarily used as the home stadium for the Buffalo Bills, a professional football team in the National Football League (NFL).
The stadium was originally named Rich Stadium when it opened in 1973, but was later renamed to Ralph Wilson Stadium in 1998 in honor of the team's founder and owner, Ralph Wilson. In 2016, the stadium was renamed to New Era Field after the Buffalo-based headwear and apparel company, New Era Cap Company, acquired the naming rights.
New Era Field has a seating capacity of 71,870 and features a natural grass playing surface. The stadium has hosted a number of significant events over the years, including several playoff games and the annual college football game known as the "Frozen Four" in 2003 and 2019.
In 2020, the Buffalo Bills announced plans to build a new stadium to replace New Era Field, although the exact location and timeline for construction have not yet been determined.
