On 1 July 2025, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone name was shortened to just NTT, Inc. as part of implementation of the Amendment of the Act on Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, etc. known as Amending NTT Act, enacted in April 2024. The logo was first revealed on May 9, 2025 and was approved during shareholders meeting on 19 June 2025.
