Papa Smurf is a character in the Smurfs, a series of Belgian comic strips created by Pierre "Peyo" Culliford. He is the leader of the Smurfs, a group of small blue creatures who live in a peaceful village in the forest. Papa Smurf is wise, kind, and fatherly, and he is respected by all the other Smurfs for his leadership and guidance. He is often depicted wearing red pants and a red hat, and he has a white beard. In the Smurfs television show and movies, Papa Smurf is voiced by actor Jonathan Winters.
