Pekan Tilawatil Quran is an annual event organized by Radio Republik Indonesia to recruit the best Qori and Qoriah candidates which is held every year during the holy month of Ramadhan. PTQ was first held in 1968 as Musabaqoh Tilawatil Quran in cooperation with the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs.
