The mascot of the Quinnipiac Bobcats is a live bobcat named Boomer. Boomer is a male bobcat who was rescued as a kitten in Montana and brought to the university in 2007, where he has served as the official mascot ever since.
Boomer can often be seen at Quinnipiac athletic events, leading cheers and interacting with fans. He has become a beloved figure on campus and in the community, and has even been featured in national media outlets such as ESPN and Sports Illustrated.
