The Kate Gleason College of Engineering (KGCOE) at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) is a college focused on engineering and technology education and research. The college was founded in 1885 and is named after Kate Gleason, who was one of the first women to be admitted to the engineering program at RIT.
The KGCOE offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programs in a variety of engineering disciplines, including biomedical engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, and mechanical engineering. The college also offers cross-disciplinary programs in areas such as sustainability and renewable energy.
