The Rockford IceHogs are a professional ice hockey team based in Rockford, Illinois, United States. They are a member of the American Hockey League (AHL), the top development league for the National Hockey League (NHL). The IceHogs were founded in 1999 and are an affiliate of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks. They play their home games at the BMO Harris Bank Center.
