Sport1+ HD is a high definition version of the German pay-TV sports channel Sport1+. It is owned by the Sport1 GmbH, a joint venture between the sport marketing company Infront and the media company Discovery. Like the standard definition version of Sport1+, Sport1+ HD broadcasts a variety of sports events, including football, basketball, ice hockey, and motorsports. The HD version of the channel offers improved picture and sound quality compared to the standard definition version. Sport1+ HD is available via satellite, cable, and IPTV and can be purchased as a standalone channel or as part of a package with other Sport1 channels.
