SV 09 Staßfurt is a German football club based in Staßfurt, a town in the state of Saxony-Anhalt. The club was founded in 1909 and has played in various leagues throughout its history. The club currently plays in the Verbandsliga Sachsen-Anhalt, which is the fifth tier of German football. SV 09 Staßfurt has had a number of successful seasons in the past, winning the Landespokal Sachsen-Anhalt several times and getting promotion to the fourth tier of German football (Oberliga NOFV-Nord) in 2009-2010.
