TİM (Türkiye İhracatçılar Meclisi) or The Turkish Exporters Assembly, is a non-profit organization that represents the interests of Turkish exporters and the Turkish export industry. Founded in 1985, it is the sole and exclusive representative of the Turkish export sector, and the only organization authorized to speak on behalf of the sector in matters related to exports.
TİM's main mission is to increase the competitiveness of Turkish exporters and the country's export performance by taking a leading role in the development and implementation of policies, strategies, and programs that support the export sector.
TIM is a member of the World Export Development Forum (WEDF) and the International Trade Centre (ITC) and works in cooperation with various international organizations such as the World Trade Organization (WTO), the World Economic Forum (WEF) , the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the OECD. TİM also organizes various trade fairs and exhibitions, seminars, and conferences to promote Turkish products and services, and to provide networking opportunities for Turkish exporters and international buyers.
