Tooheys Brothers is a historic Australian brewing company that was founded in 1869 by brothers John and James Toohey in the city of Sydney. The company began as a small family business but grew rapidly, becoming one of the largest and most successful beer producers in Australia.
Tooheys is known for producing a variety of beers, including its flagship brand, Tooheys New, which is a popular lager in New South Wales. Other popular Tooheys brands include Tooheys Old, Tooheys Extra Dry, and Hahn Premium.
In 1992, Tooheys Brothers was acquired by the international brewing giant, Lion Nathan. The company continues to produce beer under the Tooheys name, with its products being sold in Australia and internationally.
