The Toronto Argonauts are a professional Canadian football team based in Toronto, Ontario. They are a member of the East Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL). The Argonauts were founded in 1873 and are the oldest professional sports team in North America still using its original name. The team has won the Grey Cup, the championship of the CFL, a record 17 times.
The Argonauts play their home games at BMO Field, which is located on the Exhibition Place grounds in Toronto. The team is owned by Bell Canada and Kilmer Sports, and is currently coached by Ryan Dinwiddie.
Throughout their history, the Argonauts have had a number of notable players and coaches, including Joe Theismann, Pinball Clemons, and Don Matthews. In recent years, the team has struggled on the field, but has a loyal fan base and is an important part of Toronto's sports history.
