Unifrance is an organization that promotes French cinema worldwide. It was founded in 1949 and is funded by the French government, the National Film Board, and private companies. Unifrance's main activities include organizing the promotion of French films at international festivals and markets, providing information on the French film industry to foreign professionals, and supporting the distribution of French films abroad.
It also organizes events and initiatives to promote French cinema and its creators, such as the annual Rendez-vous with French Cinema in Paris. Unifrance is headed by a President, who is currently Frédérique Bredin.
