About Universcience

Universcience is a French science organization. The organization was created in 2010. It resulted from the merger of the Palais de la Découverte and the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie. Universcience owns and manages two scientific sites in Paris: one in La Villette and another on the Right Bank of the Seine River (across from Bercy). The group offers exhibits, conferences, workshops, seminars and other activities that allow visitors to learn about various fields of science.

The Palais de la Découverte, more than a hundred years old, is located on the Champs-Élysées. This museum offers visitors an intimate view of science with more than one hundred permanent exhibits for kids and adults alike.

Alongside the Palais de la Découverte stands the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie, which has welcomed millions of visitors since its opening in 2002. The site covers 80 hectares (200 acres) and contains over 200 activities that allow you to discover science through all five senses!

Exhibits: Some of the exhibits at Universcience are open to the public. These include “Universe” (a recreation of outer space), “Time” (a recreation of history), and “Life” (a recreation of Earth). You can visit these exhibits by purchasing a ticket from one of our staff members or using your employee badge to get in for free.

Conferences: The Universcience Conference Center hosts conferences on everything from space travel to quantum mechanics! These events are open to attendees who purchase tickets through their website or through our official booking system; if you don't have a ticket already, stop by our ticketing desk before attending.
