Backaldrin has been active in the Chinese market since 2001, and with its Guangzhou-based subsidiary, backaldrin Guangzhou Food Co. Ltd., since 2018. The subsidiary is responsible for the distribution of backaldrin products in China. In 2019, the company opened its own production facility as well as a bakery with a training centre at the new location.
