The Milwaukee Admirals are a professional ice hockey team based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. They are a member of the American Hockey League (AHL), the top development league for the National Hockey League (NHL). The Admirals were founded in 1970 and are an affiliate of the NHL's Nashville Predators. They play their home games at the UW–Milwaukee Panther Arena.
The Admirals have a dedicated fan base and are known for their skilled and hard-working style of play. The team has had a successful history, winning the Calder Cup, the AHL's championship trophy, in 2004 and making it to the Calder Cup Finals on several other occasions.
