SSV Ulm 1846 Fußball is a German football club based in Ulm, Baden-Württemberg. The club was founded in 1846, making it one of the oldest football clubs in Germany. They currently play in the 3. Liga, which is the third tier of the German football league system. They have played in the 2. Bundesliga, which is the second tier, in the past. The club has also had some success in cup competitions, winning the Württemberg Cup in 1957 and reaching the quarterfinals of the DFB-Pokal, which is the premier cup competition in Germany, in 1971.
