The Wheeling Nailers are a minor league ice hockey team based in Wheeling, West Virginia. They are members of the ECHL (formerly known as the East Coast Hockey League) and play their home games at WesBanco Arena. The Nailers were founded in 1992 and have been a successful franchise in the ECHL, making the playoffs in several seasons and winning the Kelly Cup, the league's championship trophy, in 1996 and 2012.
