The Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) is a government agency in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) responsible for the development and regulation of the country's education sector. The department was established in 2018 and is headquartered in Abu Dhabi.
The ADEK's mandate is to provide high-quality education that prepares students for the challenges of the 21st century and to support the development of a knowledge-based economy in the UAE.
